Established in 1929, RA Jordan Pty Ltd, trading as Jordan Plumbing in SA and the NT, has forged a reputation and portfolio as an industry leader in plumbing services. As a prequalified ‘Tier 1’ State Government and Territory Government approved contractor we maintain a significant profile, reputation and proven ability. We pride ourselves on operating in a fair and ethical manner.
We seek out innovation and fresh approaches to traditional methodologies, embracing new technologies to better serve our client’s needs. We have invested significantly into the growing world of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and are fully equipped to deliver projects utilising various 3D modelling software packages. Our in-house design and documentation team can provide plumbing solutions from design concept stage, throughout the construction period and into project handover.
Safety
Committed to continual improvement, Jordan plumbing has a strong focus on safety in the workplace. Our Occupational Health & Safety Management System has been certified against AS/NZS 4801:2001 OHS Management Systems, OHSAS 18001:2007 and we have JAS-ANZ registration. We embrace progress with enthusiasm and the excitement of being able to do the job better, safer and more efficiently. We have a professional Safety Manager leading a team of safety advisors who are trained and spread throughout the worksites.
When it comes to safety management, consultation and communication throughout all levels of the business is a major key. Regular Tool Box meetings, Safety Advisor meetings and management meetings ensure items are discussed, decided upon and documented. Continually looking for ways to improve our methods and systems, Jordan Plumbing keenly sees the training and development of its people as an asset to all stakeholders. In agreement with our employees, we have set measurable targets to achieve in safety performance.
Quality
Jordan Plumbing’s Quality Management System is third party certified against AS/NZS ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and has JAS-ANZ registration. The system ensures we deliver the specified works as required for each and every project. The procedures we use for each project are tailored to suit the works specified by the client. Adherence is not limited to these specifications, but also all statutory and legislative requirements along with current standards.
Our overriding ethos to any specification and criteria for works undertaken is to deliver products and services that are fit for purpose.
Industrial Relations
Jordan Plumbing is second-to-none in our field for excellent industrial relations. We lead the way and have consistently met all levels of code compliance through current and past Enterprise Agreements. We are compliant with the National Code (Section 5: Aust Govt Implementation Guidelines May 2012, Best Practice Principles for the Building Industry) and our current and past agreements have been code compliant with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. We currently have in excess of 200 tradesmen and apprentices, all directly employed.
Environmental
Understanding the vital role we all share in protecting the world we live in, Jordan Plumbing is very much up to date on the latest methods of sustainability and environmental consciousness. Our Environmental Management System is third party certified against ISO 14001:2015 and we are committed to complying with all legislative requirements, industry standards and client requests.
Licensing & Registrations
Jordan plumbing has building contracting licences to work in SA and NT. Our Quality & Safety systems are third party accredited. We are pre-qualified Category 1 for the
Department of Planning, Transport & Infrastructure, certificate number 2007T0186 (qualify to tender for SA Government work valued at $2.5m+) and we are also fully CAL accredited in the Northern Territory, certificate number D-6-16048-04-18. Insurance certificates include Return to Work/Workcover workers compensation, public liability ($25m), professional indemnity ($10m), motor vehicle, industrial special risk (as listed), contract works (as nominated) and construction plant & equipment (as nominated).
