The University of Adelaide - Innova21

The University of Adelaide – Innova21, completed in 2010, is a state of the art 6 Greenstar rated Building. The project included the largest geothermal cooling cage set up (both in-slab & in-ground) to ever be done in South Australia (76km of pipework). Pipework suspended from under slab floors. Rainwater & stormwater harvesting & then used for toilets & irrigation.

The heat generated by the gas fired generators is exchanged to the Co-generation plant which preheats the water used in the hot water units. The first ever large scale squat pan project constructed in South Australia.
