Burnside Village Shopping Centre
Burnside Village Shopping Centre includes the latest addition of shops & car parking. Engaged to perform the stormwater, hydraulics and civil works for the project, Jordan Plumbing took on the challenge of performing the working in close proximity to the existing live shopping centre.
Initially, we had to create a diversion of the existing stormwater drains and then later construct the stormwater drainage system for the below ground and above ground car parks. The 4 Greenstar rated project includes 170,000 litres of rainwater harvesting. This water is then used for the toilet systems and gardens including the significant gum tree feature within the centre of the development. The 30 new shops are metered separately and monitored by the building management system.
